Thai peanut sauce

Creamy and savory, this Thai peanut sauce is a perfect pairing for spring rolls or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup rice wine vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions

  1. Place the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and well combined.

This sauce is high in calories, so be aware of the extra calories in a large serving. If you want to make the sauce gluten-free, use tamari in place of low-sodium soy sauce.
