Creamy and savory, this Thai peanut sauce is a perfect pairing for spring rolls or noodles.
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup rice wine vinegar
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Directions
- Place the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and well combined.
This sauce is high in calories, so be aware of the extra calories in a large serving. If you want to make the sauce gluten-free, use tamari in place of low-sodium soy sauce.
